Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 2, 2026 · Current app version reviewed: 1.0.0

Plain-language summary: The current version of PDF maker-image to PDF does not require an account and does not upload your document content to our servers. Photos, scans, documents, OCR text, and signatures are processed locally on your device. You decide when to import, export, print, or share a file. We plan to add Google AdMob advertising in a future version; the advertising section below explains that planned change.

1. Scope and developer identity

This Privacy Policy describes how the Android application PDF maker-image to PDF (referred to as the “App”) accesses, uses, stores, and shares information. It applies to version 1.0.0 as reviewed on the effective date above.

The App is provided by the developer identified in its Google Play listing. Questions about this policy or the App’s privacy practices may be sent to the contact address at the end of this policy.

2. Information accessed and processed

The App accesses information only when needed to provide a feature you choose. In the current version, this processing takes place on your device and is not collected by or transmitted to our servers.

The current version has no user account system, developer-operated cloud service, analytics SDK, or advertising SDK. We do not sell your personal or sensitive information.

3. Device permissions

  • Camera: used only when you choose to scan a document or capture a page. You may deny this permission and continue using features that do not require the camera.
  • Photos and media: used to display and import images you choose. On supported Android versions, the App may support access to selected photos only.
  • Legacy storage access: requested only on older Android versions where it is needed to read or save files. Android version limits restrict these permissions on newer devices.
  • Internet and network state: currently used to detect connection availability and reserved for online functionality. The current version does not upload your documents to our servers.

Android system settings let you review or revoke permissions at any time. Revoking a permission may disable the feature that depends on it.

4. Sharing and third parties

The current App does not send your document content to us or share it automatically with third parties. When you deliberately use Android’s share or print controls, you select the destination application, service, printer, or person. That recipient processes the file under its own terms and privacy policy.

The App uses third-party software libraries to provide local functionality, including Google ML Kit for on-device text recognition and PDFBox-Android for PDF features. Based on the current implementation, these libraries are not used by the App to upload document content. Your operating system, device backup provider, or a service you choose for sharing or printing may independently process information under its own policy.

5. Planned future Google AdMob advertising

AdMob is not integrated into version 1.0.0. We intend to add Google AdMob advertising in a future release. We will update this Privacy Policy and the App’s Google Play Data safety and ads declarations before or when advertising becomes active.

If AdMob is introduced, Google and its advertising partners may collect or receive information needed to provide, measure, secure, and personalize or limit ads. Depending on the released configuration, device, region, consent choices, and applicable law, this may include:

  • device or advertising identifiers;
  • IP address and general location inferred from it;
  • app interactions, ad views, clicks, and diagnostic information;
  • device, operating system, language, and network information; and
  • consent and privacy-choice signals.

Before requesting personalized advertising where required, we plan to provide the disclosures and consent controls required by applicable law and Google policy, such as a Google-certified consent management platform for relevant users in the EEA and UK. Available choices may include personalized ads, non-personalized ads, limited ads, or technical ad delivery, depending on eligibility and consent.

For more information about Google’s practices, please review the Google Privacy Policy, How Google uses information for advertising, and Google AdMob privacy guidance.

6. Data retention and deletion

Locally created or imported documents remain on your device until you delete them in the App, remove them through device storage tools, clear the App’s data, or uninstall the App. Temporary camera files may remain in the App cache until Android or the App removes them. Preferences and library metadata remain until cleared or until App data is removed.

The App permits deletion of documents from its library and clearing of the recent-document index. Because the current version has no accounts and does not collect your files on developer servers, there is no server-side account or document record for us to delete.

Android backup is enabled for the App, with cache files excluded. Depending on your device and backup settings, Android or your chosen backup provider may back up eligible App data. You can manage or disable device backups through your operating-system or provider settings.

7. Security

We reduce exposure by processing document content locally and by using app-specific storage for generated files, preferences, and signatures. Files shared at your request are provided through Android’s controlled file-sharing mechanism. No method of storage or processing is completely secure, so you should protect your device, use strong PDF passwords when appropriate, and share sensitive documents only with trusted recipients.

8. Children’s privacy

The App is a general-purpose productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in a user’s jurisdiction). The current version does not knowingly collect personal information from children on our servers. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

9. Your choices and rights

You control which files you import, which camera captures you make, and when a document is exported, printed, or shared. You can revoke permissions, delete local documents, clear the App’s data, manage Android backups, or uninstall the App through your device settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights relating to personal information. The current version does not maintain user accounts or a developer-operated database of user documents. For questions or requests relating to information you believe we hold, contact us using the address below. We may need enough information to understand and respond to your request.

10. International processing

The current version processes document content on your device. If AdMob is added later or you choose an external sharing, printing, backup, or storage provider, that third party may process information in countries other than your own under its own privacy policy and applicable safeguards.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, legal requirements, or third-party services change. In particular, we will revise the policy when the planned AdMob integration becomes active and will describe the actual advertising configuration and choices. The revised policy will show a new effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the App or through the Google Play listing where appropriate.

12. Official policy resources

This policy was prepared with reference to Google’s official User Data policy and Data safety guidance. These links are informational; Google does not endorse this App or this policy.
